The "Songwriter" Sessions concerts were a smash success. Producer Colin Linden came in from Nashville to work his magic on the project, the audiences were fabulous, and the band played like never before! We got a lot of great music recorded, and it won't be long till you can get your hands on a copy of the fully produced CD. Look for it in late spring / early summer! With such high demand from fans to purchase the song "Live Like There's no Tomorrow", Jill decided to release the single while currently working on her 7th full lenght CD "Songwriter" which will be released in 2009. One radio host described her this way: "Jill Jack; I just keep thinking somehow that if Waylon Jennings was a woman, it would be her! She's sharp, she's witty, and she's got soul. Most important, I think based on her songwriting and style, she's got staying power; she gives Tift Merritt some real competition.
